Natalie Frank
Dr. Natalie Frank received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Georgia. She was on Faculty at George Washington University and was Director if the Graduate Program in Clinical Practices in Psychology at the University of Hartford. Focusing on Stress, and Coping, she is widely published in psychology and is a frequently invited presenter at National and International Conferences and has been an invited speaker for Colloquium presenting information on a variety of topics.
Dr. Frank is also interested in working with Trauma Victims. She has worked on a PTSD inpatient unit with Vietnam and Desert Storm Veterans, and on a Women's Inpatient Unit with women suffering from Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly Multiple Personality Disorder). Following the September 11th attacks, Dr. Frank volunteered at the Pentagon Command Center, working with the families of the Pentagon Victims. For her service she received a commendation from U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.

Natalie is also a Freelance Writer whose interests include Child Well Being; Public Policy and Government; Current Events; Ethics; Educational Reform; Methods of Mentoring; Parenting Issues; Health Care Reform; Advocacy; Veteran's Affairs; Psychological Disorders; Eldercare; and Social Support as an Intervention for Mental Distress. Her articles can be found in various magazines and online journals.
CREATIVE WRITING
Natalie has been writing poetry and short stories since she was a child, and recently finished her first full length play, a historical fiction piece about Leo Frank as well as her first novel, a psychological mystery thriller which she is beginning to edit for submission.. She has two other novels partially completed and her short stories and flash fiction pieces have been featured in several literary journals. Her goal is to win the lottery so she can focus on her writing without having to be concerned with where her next meal is coming from, while continuing to teach part time.
